Gift and her family used to live near the project with her step mother after her mother divorcing with her father because the father had multiple women. The step mother could live them and his little brother Daniel at home with no food at home. While there they could move around the community looking for what to eat and so they ended up at one of the center days and had lunch with us and on the next center day during in one to one sessions we discovered they were not schooling. We visited their home and we proved that they needed help and we registered them on the program. Both Gift and Daniel have now been reunited them with their mother who also has no job but washes clothes for other people. Gift loves playing netball and running and dreams of becoming a nurse in future.

BIRTHDAY: 21/12/2016
Daniel and his family used to live near the project with his grandmother after his mother divorcing with his father because the father had multiple women. the grandmother was too old and didn’t have enough capacity to take care of him. while with her sister who was staying with her step mother at the time they could move around the community looking for what to eat and so they ended up at one of the center days and had lunch with us and on the next center day during in one to one sessions we discovered they were not schooling. we visited their home and we proved that they needed help and we registered them on the program. both Daniel and her sister Gift have now been reunited them with their mother who also has no job but washes clothes for other people. Daniel wants to become a doctor in future. he loves playing football and coloring.
CHILD NAME: ALINDA DINNAH

Dinah came to know about the project through a recommendation by the teacher. she was always the best student in class and was always chased from school due to fees defaulting. We met her in Primary Seven being chased back and forth because she lacked school fees and even her registration fees for her Primary Leaving examinations. we thus followed her up and visited her home to assess the situation. While sharing with her mother, we discovered She is the second last of the 9 children of her mother. Her dad died when she was just 7 months old and the mother was chased from her husband’s home by the in-laws after she refused to remarry. She now lives in Kampala but she had no shelter and they slept in church while searching around town for food. we thus registered her on program because the situation was needing and was able to sit for her exams and even rented for them a house. She loves singing and dancing and she leads praise and worship on center days. she dreams of becoming a lawyer in future to advocate for the rights of women.
CHILD NAME: SSEBATA NELSON
BIRTHDAY: 11/11/2012
Nelson is late Tendo Muhangi’s young brother. He is the second born in his family and with his grandmother because his mother got another man. His father separated with her mother 4 years ago and disappeared from the family. The mother was left alone to provide for the family. She helps in washing clothes for the neighbors in exchange for food and sometimes gets little money to take care of the family needs. Nelson is a very a happy boy who is active in everything and loves serving others, He has not been consistent with school due to the challenge of paying school fees. He dreams of becoming an accountant in bank because he loves mathematics. He loves playing football and telling stories.
CHILD NAME: KIBANGA DAVID
BIRTHDAY: 07/07/2009
We came to know David from our Christmas party where we invited all the kids for center day around our community. David and his brother being near the project site it was always easy for them to come for center day. through our interactions with them and home visits we discovered that he stays with single mother after the divorce of his parents, so David had to stay with mother who had no income generating activity thus finding difficulties in school fees, sustaining the family and general accommodation. we registered David and his younger brother on the program to make sure we help them out. David’s mother, with the support from the project now runs a small kiosk where he sells tomatoes. David is a good footballer, and he loves telling stories. He dreams of becoming an accountant.

BIRTHDAY: 15/02/2013
Joshua used to escort his brother David for center days, and it is from where we realized that he does not go to school too not because he did not want or young, but her mother couldn’t afford footing their school bills and his brother being near the project site it was always easy for them to come for center day. His mother, with the support from the project now runs a small kiosk where he sells tomatoes. He loves playing hide and seek with his friends. He dreams of becoming a doctor.

She is so bright and creative and loves school. Ninah’s mother was living next to our project and could always come for our open center days. we had to conduct a visit to her home where we discovered that Ninah stays with a single mother following the abandonment from dad since the mother was five months pregnant. and ever since the mother has been the bread winner though through struggle since she has no job that could earn them a living and thus couldn’t even afford paying for her school fees and other needs. we registered her on program and enrolled her to School. Ninah loves writing, playing net ball and she dreams to be a great Doctor once she grows up.
CHILD NAME: TUMWIJUKE CHARLES
BIRTHDAY: 20/08/2007
We met Charles on one of our center days. He is an intelligent hard working guy. On one of our outreach to the community, we discovered that even though Charles was so intelligent, He was not attending school. he stays with a maternal aunt after the death of his parents, he loves school though his consistency at school is minimal due to school fees since his Aunt has other 6 children that she takes care of and she is just a casual labourer. By our satisfied assessment by the staff we were able to established that he needs help in order to fulfil his dream of becoming a distinguished teacher in the country. he loves helping out the little kids on center day and at church. He loves playing football and visiting his friends.
MUYIMBO DERRICKDerrick was on 25th/10/2001.
He is currently in S.4. he is strong leader and loves seeing his peers happy and living a healthy life. Apart from Self driving himself at the project, he also volunteers with a nearby health centre to run tests for HIV in his fellows. We got to know him from his friends who told him about our discipleship/ mentorship centre days and he was eager to join. Through our interactions with him its when we discovered that He was not attending school at all because he lacked school fees and he had lost his parents. He loves teaching his about having the best health practices. He dreams of becoming a doctor in future.
KISAKYE CHRISTINE, Christine was born on the 25th/01/2006.
She came to our centre day after attending one of our community outreaches. Through our interactions with her we discovered that she finished P.7 and had sat for a year before she joined secondary because her mother couldn’t afford school fees to take her for secondary. Her mother sells roasted fish and her father died long time when she was still a toddler. She now joined S.1 but has never paid school fees. She dreams of becoming a lawyer in future. She is passionate about dancing and loves pink.
